Beth Coleman
Hi, my name is Beth Coleman. I am the counselor for Kindergarten, First and Second grade.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the College of St. Benedict and a Master's Degree in Counseling from Minnesota State University in Mankato. I have been a counselor in St. Paul since 1991.

My job at Webster involves three main parts. I teach lessons in each classroom. The lessons teach children skills to help them get along with other people.  Some of the topics may include

being assertive, how to deal with a bully, making and keeping friends, conflict resolution, anger management and safety issues.
I also have support groups and do individual counseling with children. I am available to talk to kids and parents about concerns and can provide information for services outside of school.

When I am not at school you will find me in my car driving my 3 children to sports events and lessons! My husband Jeff and I often see each other in the driveway as we go in opposite directions to the events of the day! When all five of us do catch up with each other we like to play board games and go to plays and movies.
