Occupational Therapy
O.T. provides services to improve the student's functional involvement within the school setting. To do this, the therapist work directly with students in their classrooms or in a therapy setting. We also work with teachers and parents to assist our students and by adapting the student's environment or curriculum expectations.

Other areas occupational therapy focus on can be:
  • Fine motor development for writing
  • Organization for work completion
  • Gross motor development for safety, sitting posture and stability
  • Self regulation of:
    • Attention and focus
    • Excessive movement and energy
    • Basic self-help skills
    • Physical adaptations to the classroom
    • Adaptation to work/assignments
    • Assisted technology
