Jim Schaldach
Hello,

I came to Webster at the start of the 2007-2008 school year as the Team Lead of the Webster Learning Center.  I am a School Social Worker by training.  I spent my first two years in the district (2005-2007) in the ALC Middle School program.  I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Hamline University in St. Paul in 1989 and began a career in the social services in Minneapolis.  In 2001, I completed a Masters in Social Welfare at the University of California at Berkeley.  I spent four years as a school social worker at Visitacion Valley Middle School in San Francisco, CA, before moving

back to MN.
When I'm not working with the students at Webster I enjoy listening to jazz and old blues, reading about jazz history and as many Russian novels as possible.

It is great being a part of the Webster community and working with the students, their families and the staff; It is a pleasure to be able to learn from them each day.
