Literacy Coach

Welcome, My name is Janet
Delmore. I am nearing my 25th year in the Saint Paul Public schools. I
have classroom teaching experience in grades Kindergarten up through
high school. My experience as a Staff Developer / Literacy Coach has
been both at the district level as well as at the building level. I am
currently a literacy coach for grades 3 & 4. The teachers and

I have both a master’s degree as well as a Ph.D in reading
instruction. I am also a nationally certified Reading
Recovery teacher. I taught Reading Recovery for five years at Parkway
Elementary.
On the other side of my life,
Mark and I live in Roseville and have two grand dogs named Cooper and
Duke.
I keep myself very busy in the
Roseville Community where I am the Human Rights Chair for the city.
Accepting diversity is one of our
goals.
The final aspect of my life I would
like to share is mentoring a young man named Andres. I have known him
since he has been 3 years old. I am very proud to tell you he attends
Hamline University.
