I am sure we will have many opportunities to meet each other and talk but I thought I would send a letter introducing myself and allow you to get to know me better.  First and foremost I would like to thank you for the opportunity to teach your child.  I know they are precious to each and everyone of you.  I hope I can be a strong positive influence and role model over the year.

I grew up in St. Paul across the street from University of St. Thomas and attended St. Paul Academy from kindergarten through seventh grade.

For my eighth grade year I transferred to St. Thomas Academy and finished my formative years there, graduating in 1992.

I attended DePauw University in Greencastle, IN and graduated in May of 1996 with a double major; a B.A. in Communications and a teachers license in Secondary Education.  I have a Masters in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin River Falls.  I live in St. Paul  and am married to my wife Christine.  I am a proud parent of three beautiful girls, Amelia,6, Josephine, 4 and Charlotte 1 year old.

My hobbies include running, biking, reading, philanthropy, camping,  boating, and coaching.  I am the Head Boys Basketball Coach at St. Paul Academy and the Head Jumps Coach at St. Thomas Academy.  I played football, basketball and ran track in high school and in college I played football and ran track at the Division III level.

I spent my philanthropic hours raising money to send children to overnight residential camps on 100% scholarships.  I also founded the King Leadership Camp, a three year program, to develop urban leaders
